In Sailormoon S, Hotaru had two personalities. Hotaru, an intelligent girl, who liked to dress in dark clothing, and Mistress Nine, an evil daimon who possessed Hotaru's body. Because of Mistress Nine, Hotaru was always suffering from seizures, seizures that would make her hurt her friends. However, in SailorStars, Hotaru was an intelligent and normal child, and seemed to be very cheerful. Hotaru also wore a lot of different colored clothing in SailorStars.

So her SMS personality is the total opposite of her SailorStars one. I like her SMS personality better, don't know why, maybe because I think Mistress Nine is cool ^_^
